仮面ライダークウガ

先日、来年公開の映画、スーパーヒーロー対戦GPに、幻の仮面ライダー３号が登場する事が発表され、話題をよんでいますよね、仮面ライダー３号は当初１号、２号に続いて当初の漫画雑誌などに登場し、TVドラマにも登場する予定でしたが、続編にはV３が登場し、３号は今までお蔵入りの状態となっていました。

映画公開は来年ですが、現在の季節は冬で、まだまだ寒い季節が続きそうで、まるで仮面ライダークウガの雪山でのラストバトルを思わせるかの如くの寒さです。

という訳で今回は仮面ライダークウガについて語っていきたいと思います。

2000年再び1つの伝説の幕が開けた。

1度は原作者と共に眠りに着いた伝説が、遺跡を発掘するように 再び目を覚ます。

そう、まさしく古代遺跡の棺からベルトを発掘する姿は、1度は幕を閉じた仮面ライダーシリーズの、新たなライダーの復活を表す隠喩なのだ。

まさにこの瞬間、仮面ライダークウガの誕生である。

クウガは本編の制作は原作者の手を借りず、彼の意思を継ぐスタッフの方達が、原作者が生前に書き残した、クワガタの仮面ライダーのスケッチを元にして、シナリオはグローイングフォームの白さのように白紙の状態からのスタートとなる、

第2話で、主人公の五代が刑事の一条に対し、「見ててください！俺の!…変身!!」というセリフがある。

このセリフは白紙の状態から新しい色が着いてない仮面ライダーに新たな赤い色（マイティフォーム）を着ける事によって、俺たちスタッフの新しい挑戦（変身）を見ててくれという視聴者や社会に向けてのメッセージとも受け取る事ができる。

仮面ライダークウガという新しい挑戦は、よりリアルな表現や演出を突き詰めてゆく、強い攻撃を食らうと赤い血を流し、クウガの力はパワーアップするごとに、周囲のエリア1つを破壊出来る程脅威敵な力へと発展してゆく。

その結果よりシリアスなドラマへと発展して行き、ラストバトルでは、雪山でボロボロになりながらの生々しい肉弾戦を展開し激闘の末、クウガのベルトは消滅し、敵と共に、主人公の五代は雪山の中に倒れる。

最終回ではうって変わって景色は青空が広がり、新しい世界を感じさせ、刑事とライダーのコンビネーションは､アギトの世界へと繋っていき、またアギトやG3、ギルスという新しい変身へと繋ってゆくのである。

ガンダムW

冬の冷え込みで、先日には寒波が吹き、鳥のように風に乗って飛んでいくように、俺自身が、街中で飛ばされそうになっていましたが、鳥のように飛ぶといえば、ウイングガンダムゼロですよね。 という訳で今回はガンダムWについて語っていきたいと思います。

1995年、コンピュータ技術革新が進む中で、ガンダムも新たな革新の時代へと進もうとしていた。

主人公のキャラクターたちは、ガンダムの歴史に新たに美少年というジャンルを開拓する、美少年というジャンルを携えると同時に、本名とは違う、任務実行用の識別名、コードネームを所有し、彼らの本当の姿を、自分自身や自身の名ではなく、戦いの中で、自身の姿を見出そうとし、もがき苦しみながら葛藤し、ついには自爆してしまう事さえあるのである。

ガンダムＷにはコクピットに組み込まれているシステムとしてゼロシステムが存在する、ゼロシステムという革新的なシステムは時にパイロットを狂わせる、ガンダムの世界でも、現実の世界でも新たな時代が始まり、コンピュータシステムを巡る戦いが始まっていたのだ。

ウイングガンダムゼロは天使や鳥の羽を思わせるウイングを所有し、OVAや劇場版では特に、鳥のようにリアルな飛び方が顕著にみられる。

ロボットという概念を覆すモビルスーツという革新的な存在は、より革新さを増し、その体に羽を生やし、また新たな時代へと旅立ってゆく。

美少年というジャンルはガンダムSEEDへと受け継がれ、５人の美少年たちが起こしたテロリズムは、時を経て、ガンダム００で復活する。

新世紀エヴァンゲリオン

すっかり季節も冬になり、空気も冷え込んできて、雪でも降って来そうな天候が続く日々ですが、雪といえば、つい先日発売された、新世紀エヴァンゲリオンの単行本の最新刊であり、最終巻の雪が降る景色をバックに、たたずんでいる碇シンジの表紙が印象的ですよね。

という訳で今回は、新世紀エヴァンゲリオンについて語っていきたいと思います。

１９９５年、一つの衝撃的なアニメが始まった、新世紀エヴァンゲリオンである。
新世紀と呼ぶにふさわしく、従来のロボットアニメとは全く異なるものであった、ジャンルでいえば、新世紀エヴァンゲリオンはロボットアニメに属するのであるが、厳密にいえば、エヴァはロボットではなく、どちらかといえば人間に近いのである。

特に初号機においては、その特徴が顕著にみられ、自分の意思を強く持っていて、場合によっては自分自ら動き出し、そして時には暴走するのだ。

新世紀エヴァンゲリオンは、話の内容が進めば進むほど、謎がより深まっていき、主人公の碇シンジは、エヴァに乗る事を、葛藤し拒絶してゆく。
そうした中で、主人公の精神状態は逆成長し、精神崩壊へと導かれていってしまう。
エヴァの碇シンジという主人公は、元々心にどこか影がある感じで、現代的なキャラクターである。

現代的といえば、作中に登場するヒロインの一人、綾波レイも、とても現代的なキャラクターだ。
彼女はクローン人間であり、心を持たない、いや、心や感情を知らないといった方が正しいだろうか、彼女は、主人公と関わっていく中で、心や感情を補完してゆく。

補完といえば、人類補完計画だ、アニメ版ではエヴァによりサードインパクトが引き起こされ、エヴァは、ヒトから、もはや神の領域へと達しようとしていた。

作品の舞台は年中真夏の第三新東京都市であるが、漫画版エヴァでは、今まさに現実の季節が秋から冬へと移りかわっていくように、新たな新世紀が始まろうとしていた。

仮面ライダーBLACK RX

今年も、もう１２月となり、来年と今年の間の季節になってきましたね。
そんな中、仮面ライダーＢＬＡＣＫ　ＲＸも昭和の最期の時代から始まって、年号をまたいで平成の時代に突入してバブル経済崩壊手前の時期に放送された、まさに昭和と平成の間のライダーですよね。

という訳で今回は、仮面ライダーBLACK RXについて語っていきたいと思います。

仮面ライダーＢＬＡＣＫシリーズはＢＬＡＣＫ、そして２作品目のＢＬＡＣＫ　ＲＸが放送された。 ＢＬＡＣＫ　ＲＸは前回のＢＬＡＣＫに引き続き、同じ主人公が変身しているのだが、ＢＬＡＣＫの終盤で、シャドームーンとの最終決戦へと向かう際、燃え盛るバトルホッパーを背にしながら、シャドームーンのサタンサーベルを手に持ってＢＬＡＣＫ歩き出すシーンは、今思えば後々のＲＸへの伏線やプロローグ的なものを感じさせられるものである。

ＲＸではシャドームーンとはサーベルとか剣同士の闘いで、ＲＸのリボルケインのアクションシーンは見どころの一つであるが、ＢＬＡＣＫの時はサーベルや剣などを持たずにシャドームーンと戦っていたのだからすごい。

ＲＸの特徴の一つは、昭和ライダーの当時では珍しかったフォームチェンジが起用された事、これは現在に至る平成仮面ライダーの原点の一つになっているのである。 ＲＸには三つのフォームが存在する、まず基本のスタイルのＲＸ、二つ目のロボライダー、そしてバイオライダー！！である。

ＲＸは基本的な格闘戦と、赤い光で解き放たれるＲＸキック、リボルケインによるサーベルアクションを担当し、ロボライダーはパワーと銃撃戦で敵を圧倒させる、それとは対照 的にバイオライダーは軽快にゲル化状となり、スピードで勝負する、個人的にはバイオライダーが最強な気もするが、最後はＲＸにフォームチェンジして、リボルケインで止めを刺すのがほぼ定番となっている。

バブル経済崩壊という一つの時代が終わる手前で、一つの仮面ライダーシリーズは終焉を迎え、後々に平成シリーズとして新たな仮面ライダーシリーズが始まる事となるのである。
